Austin, TX – Arvada Non-profit Director, Husband and Father Joshua Rodriguez (https://unityparty.us/candidates/rodriguez-for-senate/) has declared as the second 2020 Unity Party candidate for US Senate out of Colorado (after Gary Swing) to challenge Senator Cory Gardner, making the race historic as the Unity Party’s first contested primary.

“I’m teaming up with the community I love to help prepare Colorado for Unity,” says Rodriguez.  “I have a passion for people and science, and I’m eager to move our State forward with successful solutions in the areas of policy planning, budgeting, and preparing for future technologies.  Not right, not left, forward!”

“I’m more than happy to welcome Joshua to our US Senate primary contest,” says Unity Party Chairman Bill Hammons, “and not just because this makes history with the first contested Unity Party primary in our party’s history.  I have communicated directly with at least two other potential candidates who are interested in running for the Unity Party US Senate nomination as well, and I look forward to having at least one Unity Party US Senate debate before the April 18th deadline to have our 2020 state nominating convention.”
