Unity Party Files First FEC Financials in 3 Years, Demands Reform
Austin, Texas, October 14, 2020 (Wednesday) – The United National Committee of the Unity Party of America (https://unityparty.us/) has filed its first FEC financial reports (https://www.fec.gov/data/filings/?data_type=processed&committee_id=C00591313) in three years after being administratively terminated by the FEC due to lack of financial activity, catching up to be in compliance with the Letter of the Law.
“To spend 18 hours ploughing through three years of financials after taking the FEC tech support staff two months to push the right button gives new meaning to Lost Weekend,” says United National Committee Chairman and Unity Party Presidential Nominee Bill Hammons, “but I’m proud to say that the United National Committee is now 100% in full compliance with the Law of the Land, the humble beginnings of this new Party of the People are now fully documented for all the World to see, and we look forward to earning even more $1,000+ donations from regular Americans as we continue to develop as an organization. I will perhaps never get the name of the FEC Tech Support staffer who hung up on me as I tried to patiently explain that I was not going to send yet another email that was not going to be read, but rest assured that I, as the Unity Party’s Presidential nominee, am incorporating into my Presidential platform reform of the Federal Election Commission and adding all three Commissioners to this 1,000+ recipient press release list. It also needs to be the Law of the Land that the Federal Election Commission has to have a quorum and therefore can enforce the law.”
