Troy Brekke To Run As Unity Party Candidate For House District 5

Denver, Colorado, June 1, 2021 (Tuesday) –  Denver’s Troy Brekke ( has declared that he will seek the Unity Party’s nomination for Colorado House of Representatives, District 5 in 2022.

“After reading the Unity Party platform and state party’s constitution I knew I had found a new home where I could work with people from all sides and identities to overcome our current divisions,” says Brekke.  “We Uniters recognize that we Americans have more common ground than we think, and we can all move forward together.”

“I’d like to welcome Troy both to our growing party and the 2022 race,” says Unity Party Chair Bill Hammons.  “He has the kind of youthful energy we’re always looking for, I look forward to hearing him address the upcoming state party convention, and I encourage more Colorado candidates to step forward and join the Unity Party and Unity-endorsed candidates running across the United States.”
