Impeachment. Even if the ⅔ majority of Senators still can’t be met for conviction, the need to maintain the support of at least ⅓ of Senators until Inauguration Day just might prevent Trump from dropping a tactical nuke on Joe Biden’s basement.
Forget Impeachment. Congress should execute the language in the 25th Amendment “Whenever the Vice President...of such other body as Congress may by law provide” and immediately appoint a Commission complete with its own “Vice President” which will bypass both the Cabinet and Vice President Pence, remove Trump from office, and make Pence Acting President whether he likes it or not.
